What actually changes when you come home to it done
Everyone describes the same moment, almost word for word. It is not the floors. It is the walking in.
The Xoot team
The doorway
Ask people what they liked and almost nobody starts with the floors. They start with the door. The light through a kitchen with nothing on the counter. The smell of a room that has had the windows open.
And the thing underneath it: not having to. No mental note about the bathroom. Nothing waiting.
Why the evening is the part that matters
A house you have not got to sits in the back of your mind all day. It is not urgent and it is never finished, which is exactly what makes it heavy.
Removing it does not give you a cleaner house so much as a quieter Thursday. That is the thing worth buying, and it is why a service that turns up unpredictably is worth almost nothing — you carry the wondering instead.
Make it land more often
Book the same day each week or fortnight, so the evening is predictable rather than a surprise. Leave the notes in your home profile rather than a message each time — pets, the cupboard that sticks, the shelf not to touch.
And be specific about the two rooms that matter most to you. Everyone has two. Naming them is worth more than a longer list nobody can finish.
What it does not fix, honestly
A clean house does not make a hard week easier, and anyone selling it that way is overreaching. It removes one recurring thing from a list that has plenty left on it.
That is still worth something. But the households happiest with this are the ones who bought back a specific afternoon and used it for something, not the ones who expected the house to change how they felt.
Quick answers
How long does a standard clean take?
It depends on the size of the home and what you have asked for. The booking page shows the hours before you confirm, so nothing is a surprise on the day.
Can I ask for specific rooms only?
Yes, and it is usually the better instruction. Two rooms done properly beats a whole house rushed.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most people are not. Arrival and completion are both recorded, so you know what happened without being there.
