The office clean nobody notices is the one that is working

No office manager has ever been thanked for a clean office. They only hear about it when it did not happen.

The Xoot team

A thankless brief, honestly stated

Office cleaning is judged entirely by exceptions. Fifty invisible weeks and one Monday where the bins were not done, and the one Monday is the whole conversation.

So the thing to buy is not quality on a good day. It is a low variance.

What actually goes wrong

Almost never the standard of work. It is a substitution nobody told you about, an invoice that does not match what was agreed, a person who cannot get in because the access arrangement was in someone’s head.

Each of those is a process failure rather than a cleaning failure, which is why asking to see the process matters more than asking to see references.

Questions worth asking any supplier

Who exactly is coming, and what happens when she cannot? How am I told, and how far ahead? What does the invoice itemise? Who holds the access arrangement, and where is it written down?

A supplier who answers those four crisply is telling you they have thought about the failure modes. One who talks only about standards has not.

What to check in the first month

Reliability is only visible over time, so decide in advance what you are watching. Did the same person come? Were you told before a change rather than after? Did the invoice match the booking without a phone call?

Three months of that is a real answer. One good week is not, and the trap is that suppliers are most attentive in exactly the period you are judging them.

Quick answers

Can Xoot do after-hours office cleaning?

Availability depends on the suburb and the slot. What is bookable is what is shown — there is no waiting list dressed up as a yes.

Do we get the same person each week?

Yes, that is the default. For an office it matters more than for a home, because access and layout are learned once.

How is access handled?

Access details are stored encrypted and released only inside the booking window, and every access is logged. It is not kept in a WhatsApp thread.
