Why we are only in Gauteng
Density beats coverage. A thin map is a bad experience wearing a big number.
The Xoot team
Gauteng is a focus, not a province-wide guarantee
A large map is easy to draw. A reliable service depends on people being available where the work is. Xoot's launch focus is enabled Johannesburg areas within Gauteng, rather than every address in the province.
The title describes a regional focus. It does not mean every Gauteng booking can be accepted or that a same-week match is guaranteed.
Why density comes before distance
Long travel can make a small booking difficult for the customer and the worker. Enough nearby supply matters more than a long list of cities with uncertain availability.
A service should state the area and actual availability clearly. A booking request, a matching attempt and a confirmed assignment are different steps.
Check your address in the booking flow
Launch areas include places such as Sandton, Bryanston, Rosebank, Midrand and Fourways, together with other explicitly enabled areas. An article or marketing map does not override the current address check.
Enter the actual service address and check the available service before confirming. Being near an enabled suburb does not automatically make an address bookable.
Expansion has to be earned
Growing into another area needs enough suitable Xooters, workable travel, support and reliable matching. Announcing a city before that work is ready moves the uncertainty onto the customer.
Cape Town and wider coverage are expansion possibilities, not a current availability promise or a dated launch announcement. The current booking flow and support team are the place to verify your address.
